Camping is so fun!

We went camping for a week in the Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park. It was one of the best times of my life.
Here are some highlights from the trip.
I collected some drift wood to make into jewelry so hopefully I will have some pictures up soon.

I found photos from SF that I took with my Nikon digital that I thought I lost forever!
I am so glad!

There are photos of my friends Jeremy and Amber getting married, I would have been so sad If I lost those!

These two were so cute. If I was ever to get married I'd want my ceremony to be just like this. Just a couple of my close friends and a fun intimate setting.
Check out that adorable ring!

I must say that for not being prepeare these turned out lovely.

Black and white lovin'

bodie house
Cameron's making a darkroom for me in his garage. Now that I have my scanner and my internet I should be all set to post post post all my photos and drive myself insane in the process.
tomato cage
Last night as my roommate Timmy and my Boyfriend Cameron were watching 30 days of nights I sat on my Mac and scanned a shit ton of photos. A lot of which where my old B&W stuff from when I had a darkroom. It got me super excited about the prospect of being able to develop and print again.
cazy dog
I've realized that digital is unfulfilling (changed from "has no soul,") and it's not something I should be using up my art on.
Black and white loving all the way!

I want to move to SF

Madonna Inn

The Madonna Inn is an amazing place to stay. If I can afford to, i'll be staying there again in April. I plan on staying in the Irish Hills Suete,
or the Old World Suete
I have a couple of other choices. It all depends of availability really.

Lemons and Tomatoes.

oranges
I took these photos a long time ago.
I went on Hwy 126 to ventura one day.
Stopped by the side of the hwy to check out a fruit and veggy stand.
It was a wonderful day, but i dropped a roll of film somewhere drurring that time, and lost a lot of potentially good shots.

Summer

sunset in Venice Beach California
The best thing about Venice beach is not the beach. I'm afraid for the people who go to venice to play in the ocean. I always imagine walking alonside the shore and getting pricked by a seringe or seeing a seagull with plastic wrapped around it's neck.
The best thing about Venice beach however is the boardwalk. I love to rent beach cuisers and ride up and down the boadrwalk and people watch.

Bittersweet
While I was taking this photo my Dad was covering up the fact that he was in severe pain.
We took a trip to PA together about three years ago and we drove through the mountains in the Fall and we stopped at numerous places, where I took pictures.
It was the best thing that I have ever done with my DAd, and I will cherish it for the rest of my life.
